Hi, I’m Kimber!

I have had a lifelong love affair with other people’s stories—beginning with my first book boyfriend, Stephen King. After earning a degree in Literature, I spent years collecting ideas and filling notebooks with the kinds of stories that keep readers up long after midnight.

This year, I’ll debut my first psychological thriller, and I’d love for you to join my fellow Kross Examiners and me on the journey. Follow along on social media or sign up for my newsletter to receive sneak peeks, updates, and reader-only surprises.

When I’m not writing, I can usually be found catching up on my latest fiction novel, painting, or attempting to master the guitar. I live for quiet early mornings, one perfect cup of coffee, and the magic that happens when the house is still asleep and a story begins to unfold.

If you find yourself curled up with one of my books, I hope it keeps you turning pages far later than you planned.

I also write clean, adventurous fiction for middle grade and young adult readers—stories filled with mystery, suspense, and the thrill of exploring the unknown. These books are designed to be fun, imaginative adventures that younger readers can enjoy while still delivering the chills, twists, and excitement that make great stories unforgettable.

Current Obsession: Dungeon Crawler Carl

Dungeon Crawler Carl is a popular LitRPG (Literary Role-Playing Game) series by Matt Dinniman about a man, Carl, and his ex-girlfriend’s cat, Princess Donut, who are forced to survive a deadly, intergalactic game show that takes place in a dungeon that was once Earth. The series blends science fiction and fantasy, featuring graphic violence, dark humor, and RPG elements like levels, quests, and loot boxes, as Carl and Donut navigate the dungeon and its bizarre inhabitants. It’s known for its witty narration, the unique dynamic between Carl and the talking cat, and its exploration of themes like survival and entertainment. I’m currently on book 6.
